We all have a desire to express ourselves, and I have found my creative outlets in cooking, gardening, and now glass. Both as a gardener and a glass artist, I love to play with the elements of color, texture, shape, and three-dimensional depth to see if I can take an idea in my head and turn it into a reality. The challenge of doing so is tremendously rewarding, when I'm successful or hopefully encouraging to try again when it is not. I am enjoying exploring the techniques and possibilities of this medium. As the limits of my imagination grow so develop sketches for projects which when made enforce my practice and then hopefully in turn lead to new layers of future designs. Life is a winding journey and so is creative inspiration and creation.
