Ursula creates tiny to expansive mixed media works with creative reuse of everyday objects most of us barely think about, using bold color choices and a whimsical sensibility. She has been dumpster diving since childhood, rummaging in recycling bins, and convincing her friends, family, and neighbors to save their “pretty trash” for 2 decades for raw materials. Ursula loves being a full-time weirdo with studio space at Columbia Pike Artist Studios, and has exhibited her work at many galleries and art shows throughout the DC area
