Claudia Olivos is a visual artist whose practice weaves together oil painting, handmade clay sculpture, and oracle deck creation. Rooted in Andean shamanic tradition and goddess spirituality spanning multiple cultures, her work transforms ancient myth and ritual into contemporary art objects — paintings that glow with symbolic power, clay goddesses formed by hand, and oracle decks that have reached collectors around the world. Born in Washington, DC to Chilean parents and raised in Chile before returning to the US at age twelve, Claudia spent decades building a remarkable career in the DC area — teaching at the Smithsonian, founding an international gallery, and earning recognition as one of the region's well known and collected artists, as she bridges the spiritual and the visual, the ancestral and the present.
