My paintings are inspired by the people close to me-family, friends and loved ones. I often depict special moments or meaningful occasions, drawing from photographs I have taken or have full permission to use. I choose to focus on joyful memories rather than negative experiences, which is reflected in my use of vibrant colors and dynamic, gestural brushwork. While I aim to capture the essence and likeness of my subjects, I prioritize expression and emotion over strict realism, emphasizing the personality and energy of each moment.
