My mother once commented that if she had to choose one food it would be the potato because it can be prepared in so many different ways. I would say the same about printmaking. Of all media, printmaking gives the deepest blacks and tonal gradations. There are traditional techniques and experimental ways of using pressure to make a print. And they are all delicious in their own way.
